Hello. My name is Faelyn. I'm a 26-year-old wannabe Hogwarts student. (Now where did that owl get off to?) I'm married and I have a B.A. in Psychology. I'm also trans and non-binary.

I love Snape-rescues-Harry stories with a passion and have a particular interest in DID stories. Which is no surprise, really, because I have Dissociative Identity Disorder myself.

    ARGH! i just want to thwack Snape -and- Ian. Ian's behaving like a spoilt little brat, and he's turning out far more like Snape's perception of James than Harry could ever hope to. and way to blackmail a child, Snape, truly you are the best of parents/guardians. -_-

    if they don't become insta-friends or something, then yeah, i think Draco and Harry could become good friends! maybe Draco sees how Snape's treating Harry or something, i don't know...

    Harry's suicidal ideation and everything in this chapter is so perfect and accurate, it's *painful*. Especially that calm and purpose at the end, when he's deciding to hurt himself, that's exactly how it feels. ^^;

    Oh, I love how this story is progressing! It's brilliant and I love how slow it's going, how Harry's not just "Oh yes, I adore and trust you now!" etc.

    (Also, I think that one person meant that JKR wasn't realistic in how abused children recover, though of course, I can't be positive.)

I get so excited when my favorite authors review my story. I'm really glad you think the story is progressing realistically.     (Harry, you should bother because otherwise, he could be a lot more blatantly out to get you whereas if you are subtle about it and respectful, he will have to be more subtle in turn. :P ) I love this chapter. I'm so glad that Dumbledore didn't try to take Harry away, I can't see that going anywhere good. It will be interesting when/if Severus ever figures out *why* Harry doesn't trust the Headmaster, and what he'll do about it.

    (Also, in regards to your reply on my last review, thank you! :D Aah, that made my night, I'm so glad you like my stories. I'm planning on updating them really soon, too. XD)

Yes, I quite agree, Harry should definitely listen to that advice :) Howeve, as smart as he is, he's ten years old, and since when have ten year olds been known for their strategic thinking? I'm really glad you like this chapter. And when Snape finds out why Harry hates Dumbledore... well, I have that whole scene planned out already ;)

    The lack of reviews on this is criminal. I really was not expecting Moody to be the one behind torturing Harry, but I can't say that I'm surprised Lockhart is vile. I'm glad that Harry -and- Draco have Severus now.
