- Harry's reaction at the end at this seems weird to me. But the idea of Harry from the future coming back for the Half-Blood Prince's book is lovely.

I have an infamous multi-chap in progress (began writing about 4 years ago, and I won't post it until it's completely finished-- otherwise, I'd NEVER get it finished!), and I've already rewritten the Room of Requirement scene from the future Harry's perspective, planning -- if all goes well-- to include the future version of the scene in the multi-chap. I don't know when I'll get the story finished, since I have several others in the works at the moment, but when you see the scene, you'll know it!
As for Harry's reaction, well, he's just glad to see Snape get something put over on him, without present-Harry actually doing it himself. Sure, Snape will probably give him a detention (I left that deliberately open-ended), but Harry is enjoying the MOMENT, if you know what I mean!
What REALLY happened in the bathroom during that second round of Legilimency? When viewing Snape's memories in the Pensieve, Harry finds a surprising answer. One-shot.

Thanks so much for saying so! I kept going through HBP with a fine-toothed comb, trying to piece together all the info from all of the Snape scenes, trying to figure out WHAT THE HECK JKR was trying to show us without actually telling us! This is my take on what I think she really had going on in the bathroom scene, although we're misdirected to believe that the second round of Legilmency concerned more about the Prince's book.
I know a lot of people refuse to read one-shots for some reason-- they don't even think a one-shot qualifies as a "story" (although, back in the day, they were referred to as "short stories"!). So I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to not only read but also to leave a review! :-D
