About me:

I am obviously here for the lovely relationship that is Severus Snape and Harry Potter. I tend to gravitate toward stories where Harry is young, deaged, abused or sorted into Slytherin. I reeeeally like young Harry because I picture Daniel Radcliffe as Harry and he was just too cute for words when he was little. :]

I am a wannabe writer. Hopefully within the next month I will be able to start my first story. I have really great ideas, but terrible writer's block, and a short attention span which is only exhasperated by my three toddlers (I'm 26 ;P).

Before Harry arrives at Hogwarts, the faculty have a meeting and decide that Harry will need a mentor to help him adjust, keep him out of trouble, and make protecting him easier. They decide that this person should the Head of the House into which Harry is sorted, presumably Minerva McGonagall. But things, of course, don't turn out as planned, and Harry is harder to deal with than anyone expected. Nobody asked him if he wanted a mentor, after all...

    This was an absolutely beautiful story! I enjoyed it so much.

    I can't tell you how much this quote from your story resonates with me. Especially Severus' reaction. I can see this scene play out so easily in my head and it is so heartbreaking.

    Alright, so first off I read this in about four hours. I even woke up around 3:00 this morning to get an hour in before going back to bed I was so compelled to read it.

    I have read my share of Severus/Harry stories. I have no hesitation when I say yours is the best story I have read. It is just completely and utterly wonderful. Your Harry is the most realistic representation for how one should think, feel and act in response to an upbringing such as his. The way your Severus handles Harry's situation is perfect. The way you brought these two together was breathtaking. I am in complete awe of this story. Everything about it is fantastic. Your vocabulary is extraordinary. It was just a joy to read. Thank you so much for writing this. I do hope that you continue it to completion.

I do fully intend to finish the story, but with my semester just beginning (I do not recommend taking microbiology and anatomy simultaneously) it might take longer than I'd like. Thanks again.
