- I wish I could find the words to express my love for this story. I can't do it. I used to be able to, but I cannot anymore.
I will forever enjoy your version of Snape and the way he is with little Harry (and 15 year old Harry for that matter). I specifically love the finger down the nose to calm down, and the helping him occlude even just a little.
I need there be some sort of amazing justice dealt to Umbi--er..Umbridge, and I know you'll deliver (and I can't wait!)

- I keep coming back and re-reading this story, and every time I get to this last chapter I finally remember that it's completed and then I sit here so sad.
I know it's been a little while since you last updated but I have to try at least.
Is there any chance you're going to perhaps finish this story? I keep daydreaming about the rest of it, and I just... I need to know what happens. I have a small inkling of what may come, but I'm more than likely wrong.
I just need to know! This story is SO AMAZING. I am just in love with Severus and Harry's relationship. Severus fell right in to being a parental figure for Harry and it was so... natural. You almost didn't notice it happening. But then you see him brushing his finger soothing down the bridge of Harry's nose and it just comes back to the forefront of your mind.
Anyways, I just wanted to make sure you knew you had fans who still enjoy this story and are eagerly awaiting new chapters should the inspiration be there.

- This... this hits differently than any other story I've read. It hits too close to home. Self-harm and I are old friends, and I could feel what Harry feels, and I still struggle with the need on a daily basis sometimes.
I'm really looking forward to the next chapter, if there is one. I'd like to see how Harry and Severus handle this.

- Please, please do not stop writing. I'm absolutely invested in this story and am so sad that there were only two chapters, I wanted to keep reading. I want to see what happens to Alex - it can't be anything good and that worries me.
There's so much to unpack around trauma of any kind, and Severus is doing what he can right now to help Harry through it.

- I can already see where Harry's mind is going to go after this chapter, and I just want to tell him while it's a good and clever idea, it's not going to work. Especially with Severus on the loose.
I laughed out loud when Harry told the portraits to call the end of the game, it was so delightfully simple, and now Draco's angry.
I want so badly for them to come to some sort of...agreement isn't the word. Treaty, peace... something. My brain won't work - I think you know what I'm getting at though.
Anyways, thank you again for another wonderful chapter to yet another amazing story *heart*

- Goodness I wish I had the ability to draw - I want so badly to draw Severus standing there with Harry smiling up at him and showing his hands, with the boys poking their heads out from the tent behind him.
I can picture it but I can't draw at all and it makes me so sad.

Neglect can be one of the most painful forms of abuse, being ignored by your guardians when all you want is love hurts. No one seems to care if Harry lives or dies so he spends a lot of time wandering around Little Whinging on his own. His friendly neighbor seems to think that this is dangerous. If only someone paid enough attention to Harry to tell him that his neighbor is a little too friendly...

- I wonder if anyone else in the world sits and contemplates how to begin a review of a story, or if I'm the only one. Lol!
I am very intrigued by how this is going to go, and especially curious how/when Severus is going to come in to the picture. These types of stories are always so...ugh I can't think of the word, but they're hard to read, and equally hard to write I imagine. The scenario itself is uncomfortable but does happen in real life (unfortunately - especially in this day and age of technology in our hands) and I really feel like, if done well - a story like this could serve as a warning for any of the younger readers who come across it.
Especially the way you're writing Gary - I can just see this serving as the perfect PSA for being on watch to Pedophiles.
I sincerely cannot wait for the next chapter. Your writing is always so captivating, and draws you right in making the reader want more!

Author's Response: Oh, I do as well! And I leave the absolute worst reviews, as much as I might love a story I just never seem to be able to find the right words! Thank you for yours though!!! I am hoping that this will help people recognize the signs of sexual abuse, as it is unfortunately something that happens quite often in real life. My own story differs quite a bit from Harry’s but I still find it helpful and a bit soothing to write or read stories about this topic. The way I have the outline now, Severus will be arriving around chapter six! Hopefully I’ll get the future chapters out soon, thank you so much for your support on all of my stories!!!
Remus kidnaps 10 year old Harry when Albus refuses to remove him from the Dursley’s abuse. Severus is sent to find them and bring Potter back and he's not happy about being used like Dumbledore's personal servant. A Snape mentors Harry fic with a lot of Remus, Weasley and Draco involvement. No slash in the story. No relationship between Severus and Remus. Note: Dumbledore isn't evil in this story, but he is not trusted by the main characters involved because of the decisions he’s made.

- I will have to go back and review the rest of the chapters, but I had to leave one here. I just binged the story in... I dunno, maybe an hour and a half? I've been working so between calls I read.
At this point, as soon as I see a story posted with your pen name I'm immediately opening the story and preparing for a fantastic adventure!
I wasn't wrong either, this is the most unique story I've read in a long long time. I love Remus so much, and I feel like his relationship with Harry is never explored enough. I seriously adore how slowly Harry and Severus are going, but how you just know that Severus is growing to at least care a little bit for the boy who lived.
I keep forgetting I'm reading sometimes, because I fall so deeply in to the story that I'm pretty much just watching it in my head - and I love that about your stories.
I'm sad that there isn't more, but I'm excited at the prospect of continuing this story. Please keep writing, please finish this (and all your other stories).

- Stories like this always give me goosebumps, especially at the end.
Ron noticing the signs and seeking help is one of my favorite kinds of stories, especially when he employs others to assist.
I could easily rant for hours on this subject, but instead I'm going to just tell you how much I love the story - and how I appreciate Snape stepping in to do SOMETHING, where no other adult would.
