    Oh, that clear look of Snape's at Harry, and those ruined shoes - and I adore that you didn't fall for the all -too-common 'blood and gore Durleys'; it is not believable, and their coldheartedness and fear of their own nephew is hard enough; to be ostracized is a terrible fate for any child or adult.
    More of Snape, the quite reluctant provider. What will win him over? Not only the eyes, ...

    Harry needs Sev's help to cure those dreams, and Snape needs you to feel less
    alone. Good god, please update yesterday.
    Hermione could also give tiny feed back about slowing down Charity a bit without cutting her to pieces. Hm, Draco and Hermy ( viz. Caeria's 'Pet Project'-a classic fanfic and Completed. Hurrah!), Ron and Luna?

    Such a smooth, sentimental and warm story. After laughing at Sev's 'hospital wing ' quote, it made me root around and find the origin.
    1943's song: "Comin' In on a Wing and a Prayer" about British pilots,by night, and American,by day.
    It is sung by 'Spinners' and on You tube. Reminiscent.
    That song and 'Help' really are good choices foreshadowing Severus' canon life. Happily, we admirers try to give him a better fate.
    I do like this gem of a story.

    Exciting story- well written,
    I don't take to constant cliff-hangers, and that cave---
    I needed to see starlight in the story,phew.
    How will they strongarm the Artful Dodger? How will Severus feel as a uncertain father/ protector? will Harry faint with pain, realistically as a wounded human? Will they hitchhike home, or catch a few Icelandic ponies,- which are very strong for their size. they can easily carry even a 6.1"potions Master,- or will they toddle along as Muggles?
    Will Sev tease Harry? Alan Rickman had a dry, splendid wit. Oh, how his intelligent, courteous warmth is missed in these intolerant, loud times...
    Please write more soon..when life
    allows it.
    Having read, daily, fanfics for 8 years now, I can admit there too many,
    about eighty percent, gorgeous, talented, brill! stories that stay as unfinished torsos; that horrible habit makes me so sad.
    Authors and authoresses, please, I beg you, do write the whole story out first in pencil, then start to post one chapter after another. This reader would dance with joy. Haven't you,authors/ readers, ever been sad that something beautiful was just cut off?
    Thank you for writing this, and I am looking forward to where it will wander.

    uh, please update soon. Don't let Harry bleed too much over his father's night slippers before healing him.
    They are very alike in rash-temper, and Sev and Harry could have use of the brill RADA's maxim:
    "Think, Breathe, Speak."
    I really like your details of their daily calm, ordered life, and that the impestuous childish, stunted Sirius was able to reflect and write to Severus.
    Dumbles made me grit molars; he is so unfeeling and blinkered.
    Looking forward to reading more about them all. Well done.
