    I knew that you would break some time. I didn't know what possessed you to update TWO chapters EVERY single damn day, if I had been in your place I would have been teasing my readers for all its worth so they review to read the next chapter. But well that seems to have broken today, you didn't update even a single chapter.

    Author's Response: I actually published everything in one go! I think it was just the site admins delaying the publication of chapters. If it's finished, I tend to publish it (I try not to tease or beg for reviews!). This has already been cross-posted to AO3 and Fanfiction, just fyi. And the next chapter is in the works, so hopefully it will be out soon! Thanks for reading :)

Dumbledore has requested Snape retrieve something valuable for the Order and stop Voldemort from getting his hands on it. Unfortunately Snape is also required to take Harry as they need a Parselmouth. Along the way, both learn more about each other and Snape's ideas and assumptions are proven incorrect.

    You write greatly. Just a bit rushed during the point when Dudley spoils the car. The story idea is amazing. I think I will be a regular. Nice to know that you update regularly, and the writing style is good.
    I think you are writing Snap's character well, congratulations, a feat many fail to accomplish.
    So, I remember you saying that there might be torture somewhere later in the story.
    Please tell me it's Harry who gets tortured!!!
    Also, I think Severus isn't going to be too happy to know that Harry used so much balm for just a bruise on the cheek.

    Author's Response: Thank you so much for the feedback! I might go back and revise the car part because i think your right, I just couldn't wait to get Harry away from the Dursleys. Thank you for saying I write Snape in character, I often worry about if I'm keeping them in character and your reassurance means a lot. I don't want to give to much away but.... Yes it is Harry who gets tortured ;)

    I love this chapter!
    And, um....uh, I honestly skipped a few paragraphs after they reach Diagon Alley though, I am not quite interesting in that part, maybe you can offer me a summary?

    Author's Response: Hahah thanks for your review! As for Diagon Alley no problem, Severus basically put a glamour on Harry and they went to dragon alley to pick up some proper clothes for Harry. Harry ran into Draco and Lucius Malfoy and had to keep his cover, Severus saw and intervened and they went back to the manor. (in terms of plot you didn't miss too much)

    Ooooh, thank you so much for updating, I have to admit I read this fic just a few or maybe one day ago,m and to think that you updated it, I was ecstatic! Lovely chapter! Loved it, keep going, a few grammatical errors, I know, I also get a bit too excited over posting a chap, but calm down bro/sis?     Something is gonna happen. There is something wrong. Triumphe, that can't be good. Something bad gonna happen.

    On to other matters, please don't be offended, your story is brilliant. Extremely brilliaant, but this chapter gave away that you have only watched the movies and not read the books. I have no problem with that, of course, many people don't have the habit of reading. But, may I please request you to read the chapter, The Third Task in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. That was one of the worst scenes in the movies, the task was so great in the book, just read it once, please... many things are shown.... Maybe it will spark your interest in reading all the books? There were many things left out in the movies. And did you know? Harry was put under the Cruciatus twice in the Graveyard. Along with many other astonishing facts that the movies weren't able to include.

    I know I am rambling, but I want to spread the magic. Hope you will consider this, otherwise *shrugs* I can't force you to read them, and I am already quite happy with your story, so, I won't say this again.

    Author's Response: Your criticism is welcome! (and phrased so nicely how could I refuse?). I have read the books, but granted it was a long time ago now, and more recently i have watched the movies so I'm guessing thats kinda coming across. I will definitely read that scene again and try to amend this scene, plus I might read them all again for a refresher (I really do love reading them!) Anyway thank you for phrasing that so nicely and hopefully I can produce a story more true to the books than the movie. :)

    Really really loved this! I liked the spin on the usual abused Harry story, about him actually trying to tell others about the abuse that's been going with the Dursleys, cuz usually most stories have him trying his damndest hard to hide it.

    Harry seems so cynical during his talk with Snape while he is walking/running to Hogwarts, I wish I was a little like that when I was 13. I think that was my favourite part of the whole fic.

    Healer Davies is magnificent and that awesome side character I want more of, you know? Clever, great, and, perhaps the person without whom none of this would have been possible.

    I think this being a one shot was perfect. I loved it, it kinda really satisfied me in some way? And even though it did get pretty fluffy in the end, I loved it and it was perrrrrfect.
