- Is Luc Severus' nickname, or is this not Severus but instead Lucius Malfoy? That thought is quite frightening, that Lucius Malfoy would be raising Harry Potter... right into the hands of Voldemort. Hopefully it is Severus.

Just wondering, but did you get Gandalf's line for the last chapter from the expirience he had with dear Sam Gamgee in "The Shadow of the Past" in the Fellowship of the Ring? After all, Sam did listen in to when Gandalf was talking to Frodo, and was sent with Frodo, and saved his life at the last.
This was very well done.
Author's Response: You know, that was a very good catch! I did not specifically quote anything from the LOTR books, I was going more for the feel of something that Gandalf might have said, given what I knew of him. Thanks for your review!

Again indeed. And what is that... magical construct, and more importantly, who created it? I would understand if it was Voldemort, but this creature seems to have too much originality about it to be old Snake face's creature. Besides that, Voldie is not resurrected yet, as you have explicitly stated that this story is set just after the Chamber of Secerets. Please continue, and let us know what is going on!

- Have you by chance done any rescerch on any of this? I have a good friend with MPD, and she has several of the same charecteristics that Harry has. She was also abused, and she doesn't remember it, because one of her personalities, the Gryphon (Yes, a half-bird half-cat mythological creature) is keeping all of the secrets from the rest, I believe. It is hard to talk with someone with MPD unless you know when to expect the personality shifts and what triggers them. This is very well done, I must say.

- Oh my... I just realized that Harry and company sound a bit like the Smeagol/Gollum conversation in Return of the King and the argument in The Two Towers of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Of course, the Ring's posession of a person could be said as bringing out a second, completely evil personality, but that conversation in the first part of this chapter was well done. I applaud you.
