    So wonderful to see an update! I love how you write Snape. And I loved the implication of Harry being so smart that he's bored in class...that reminds me of my nephew...how he finishes early and draws on the back of his papers while he waits. Can't wait to read more!

    Thanks! :) I hope that when Harry gets back to his real age that Snape will see just how smart Harry is. Hermione is great for making sure the boys review and study, but Harry doesn't go and search for new material on his own.

    In canon Harry did learn a lot from the Advanced Potions text in book six, which means that he can learn from Snape's notes at least.

    I had to chuckle a bit at the 'much OOCness comment ;) Even though it's true in a sense, I still adore your Harry. Snape is strict, as he should be, but the way you write fluff isn't annoying at all. It's heart-warming.

    You really focus on the fact that no matter how old a person gets, he is still a *child* to the one who takes care of him. In Harry's case, he always feels childish around Snape, and that's okay. I also appreciate your ability to imply a sound spanking without actually going into a heap of details.

    * "I could have lost you, Harry." And Harry cried like there was no tomorrow, Snape's soft tone lashing harshly at his heart. *

    I love the fact that you used the word *lashing* to describe Severus's soft words. See, you show us that Harry is torn to pieces by Severus's disappointment and his own guilt over doing something dangerous. Both Pdantzler and Tracy have succeeded with this same scenario, as well, and I just want to give all of you (my original fanfic heroes and inspiration) a viritual high-five. LOL. Dorky, I know.

    Overall, great chapter, Dina! I think I read your story when I first discovered fanfiction and hadn't realized that I could leave an anonymous review without being a member. So I'm sorry about the lack of them. I have been enjoying your story for a long time. And I can't wait for another update!

Harry Potter, 10 years old, finds out that he isn't a Potter, and that he has a brother still living! And his brother happens to be Severus Snape. After the reading of Eileen Prince's will, Severus takes Harry in. And after spending the summer living with his newly-found brother, being educated in the wizarding ways, and meeting new people, Harry slowly starts fitting in and having a normal life.

How long will it stay normal, though? After all, despite him being known to Hogwarts and the rest of the world as Silas Prince, he still is Harry Potter, and it is only so long that he is able to stay out of trouble.

    I just finished reading your story all the way through, and I love it! I think it's brilliant how you've made Harry (Silas) a Ravenclaw instead of automatically putting him into Slytherin just because Snape's his brother.

    I also love how he's friends with Draco. I've always wished it were so in the real HPs, although that wouldn't really make sense :)

    Excellent chapter! I think you've done a great job showing Silas's confusion over the whole blood issue. I'm sure he'll still have trouble understanding why Severus has to act as if he despises muggleborns...especially when he forbid Silas to say "mudblood". Let's hope he doesn't slip up...I can only imagine his brother's wrath...lol. Anyway, I'm really enjoying this story because it's so original and interesting. Keep it up!

    You know...I can't remember if I've ever reviewed this story (I may have just lurked around, gobbling up every word) but I love it. And I adore the way you write Harry as a toddler. It's so realistic. Snape isn't overly sweet or coddling. He provides just enough care and comfort for Harry to be sufficient as a guardian. But he provides the sort of stability that Harry needs--consistency, firmness... He picks Harry up a lot and holds his hand without dragging him around, and I love that. Snape isn't perfect, but Harry will turn out to be much more well-rounded as an individual for having him as a parent. As much as I love Sirius, Harry would turn out to be a spoiled brat if he were brought up by his godfather in this story.

    Overall, this is a brilliant story--one of the best de-aging fics I've read. Thanks for the update, and good luck with your writing in the future :-)
