Hi, I'm Kim.  I live in Pennsylvania.  I have three children but two have grown and moved out.  One is still fairly young.  I've homeschooled the children most of their lives so I haven't worked in quite a few years.  I run a website called Spirit Talks where mediums meet and help others to hear from those who've passed.  We're on Hiatus right now as my web building software disappeared and none was included in my new computer's op system.     I love Harry Potter and the world of fanfiction associated with it.  Who knew there were so many talented and wonderfully imaginative people out there willing to give more life to characters who must rest for years between adventures?  I'm just glad there is!     This is an excellent story, much like others you've written. I love the premise and the way you're working it out. I love the classes and the teachers (well, love/hate some of them), and Harry, Hermione and Draco. Snape, too, if I must. Very well written and interesting. Good work! If this computer was working any better I'd go back and review the other chapters but my computer crashed and I'm making due on this. I hope to read more soon!

    Interesting story so far. I really like what you've done with Snape's visit to Harry and Snape's reaction to the realization that Harry was troubled. It was quite realistic.

Harry has a little problem, followed by a little freak out, and compounded by a confusing conversation with the Sorting Hat, who has special things in mind for him and Professor Snape. A (sort of) Christmas story as a lot of it revolves around Harry's wish for a good Christmas. [About the selected warnings] most of those were just to be safe. The Dursley's and their abuse is hardly mentioned, the corporal punishment is for the way the other students treat Harry (as well as the violence warning), and the limited use of profanity is mild.

    I'm usually not a fan of resorting Harry stories but I really like your story so far. It really is nice that you kept Ron, Hermione and Harry together as friends while resorting Harry. Very interesting so far, and well written, too. I can't wait for more.

    Excellent story! I like your version of Harry very much. I really can't wait to see the things that come next in his life, such as his impression of Hogwarts and its denizens and whether his relationship with Snape will evolve into something more or less than tolerating each other.

    You have nothing to apologize for, save the nasty cliffhanger, and you can right that wrong by updating quickly. :) I like the story the way it is, too much drama, too many sick days, too much hospital wing, too much torture or too many attacks of any kind ruin a story for me. Some is necessary and good to read, but establishing a norm first and in between is what makes a story great. You do that very well. Now, dare I hope that a new update is pending at this very moment?

    Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you like how the story's turning out. I get bothered by too much action and horror as well (and I'm not great at writing those type of scenes) Expect an update within the week :), sooner rather than later.
