Hufflepuff! :) That's a perfect solution to where to put him!
I like the OCs in Hufflepuff very much. They've already got their own personalities, and I'm fascinated by the idea that there are other Fae at Hogwarts who don't advertise themselves.
I have a feeling that Dolores Umbridge is going to have a cow when she realizes that Tobias is a student there. I'm rather surprised that she didn't wig out when she saw him being sorted!
In any case, I'm really looking forward to the next chapter! You've done a great job with this tale, and I love coming back to re-read the earlier chapters.
Well done!
Author's Response: Yey!! I'm glad you like it so much!! It's so flattering to have people not only read, but re-read, my work. Thanks for the review!

I just LOVE this story. I clicked onto it because it was in the "most recent" list, and I am so very glad that I did!
It's obvious that you've done a lot of research on the People, and I thoroughly enjoyed how you explained and showed the reader things about each type without being pedantic or boring. The personalities of all the original characters are engaging and I do hope that Harry gets to go back to Outcast's Alley to visit his friends there soon.
And Mo is a darling! :) Hurray for People among the first years!
I look forward to your continuation of this tale and I hope that you will be granted the inspiration and the time to put the words down soon.
Well done!
Author's Response: Thanks!! I'm so glad you like it!! And thanks for the review!!

I can't remember if I've already reviewed this chapter, but if so, I'll say again that I love the development of the plotline, the growth of the character Tobias Batard, and the wonderful differences from Year Five canon. I do like the fact that Harry/Tobias has matured drastically over the course of the story, and yet reads as a teenager at the same time. He certainly acts with a lot more circumspection than did Harry in OOTP, regardless of Snape's opinion about things.
I love the introduction of Blaise as a probable member of the Court (figuring out the rank of people by jewelry is kind of fun!), and when Flitwick greeted Tobias with an appropriate bow it made me grin imagining the scene in my head.
Looking forward to what happens next.
Well done!
Author's Response: :0) Yey!! Glad you like!! Thanks for the nice long review!! Enjoy the next chapter!!

Awesome! Just awesome! :)
Poor Tobias/Harry, getting no sleep and not getting his school work done because Mo seems to have confused day and night like many infants do.
But the spreading of his true identity, and Blaise also being an Heir, and the Selkie, and all the different People at Hogwarts is soooooooo cool!
I love this story more and more, each time I re-read the different chapters.
I can't wait for him to tell the Queen and her Consort where exactly he is, and see what they do to Umbridge. What goes around, comes around and she's certainly sown the wind and will reap the whirlwind.
What I'm looking forward to is when we find out just when Snape is going to be revealed for what and who HE is.... Hee! Soon, I hope!
Well done! Well done! *imagine me standing in Dumbledore's place in the Great Hall and leading the entire student body in applause for your tale*
Author's Response: LOL thanks!! I'm so glad you like it so much!! You made me smile. :0)

I can't believe that I missed this darling story for so long! It's utterly charming, and I'm so glad that I found it.
The mental images of the tree's gifts were wonderful, but what will stick in my mind is the scene at the end when Severus went to accept a sherbet lemon from Albus. :)
Well done!

Awwww. This was cute! :) I only found your stories the other night and am working my way through them.
I never would have guessed that English is not your first language; you write in it very, very well!
:)
Author's Response: On fanfiction(dot)net are more of my stories. I'm glad you liked Merry Christmas because I like it very much myself. :) As for the English, I have good betas. ;) Thank you very much for your review!

Cute! :-) I really enjoyed this. Little James was so sweet when he was telling all the good things that Severus did, and I just wanted to hug Sev when he was being embarrassed. 14 is a difficult age; not really a child anymore but yet not matured enough to be a young adult. You reflected that beautifully here.
Angry with Snape, Harry goes down to talk to the professor only to witness Snape's downfall when someone else comes to speak to the former Death Eater.

Wow!!! This is an absolutely amazing story! A fascinating AU, and I'm gobsmacked at how you've incorporated changes to canon that feel like canon.
I was particularly pleased with the development of Ron's character--in many of the Severus and Harry stories, Ron gets short shrift. I like your idea of him ending up a medic, and his marriage to Hannah Abbott.
I sympathise more and more with Severus as he walks the ever more slender tightrope of being truly Dumbledore's Man, while keeping his cover, and protecting the children at Hogwarts as best he may while pretending to support the horribleness that the Deatheaters have brought there.
Lucius and Narcissa's switch to the Order of the Phoenix is much more realistic and satisfying to read in your fic than it was in TDH. I particularly loved that little characterization bit about Lucius and Narcissa dancing and how he realized the first time they danced that he could love her. I'm so very glad that he did admit that love. I just hope that he gets to say it again when Voldy is finally dispatched. But in this fic-verse, I'm not exactly sure that he will survive even if he is able to save his family.
This Wizarding War feels real. The horror and pain of it, the stolen moments of passion and pleasure, the fleeting instances where hope springs up, and the too many times when the darkness, blood and fire overcome things.
I am very impressed by your writing. There were a couple of places where you had the word "site" where you should have more properly used "sight", and "rein" where you ought to have spelled it "reign", but your tale kept me enthralled when, normally, things like that would have thrown me out of the story.
I look forward to the next chapter and all the chapter to come. I pray that you aren't afflicted with writer's block anymore.
Well done!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I really am glad this story is being received well. My normal grammar beta is off-line. She's the one who usually catches my grammatical and other errors. Sorry if they pulled you out of the story. T
