They did not. A majority of this story will focus on Harry's ability to conceal things.
He did meet Ron and Hermione on the train. I didn't bother to include details for fear of losing a reader's interest in the broader scope of the story.

Harry doubts it but accepts the cup nonetheless and takes a few mouthfuls. Moments after he’s swallowed the bitter brew he begins to feel cold and his vision blurs.

- Wow, I never even noticed you never gave the name. Lockhart's speech, the blonde hair, defense against the dark arts, it was very clear. :P
You kept Lockhart very in character, and even though I've never imagined him to be a child molester before, i can totally believe it now.
It was a very creepy story, and hard to read for its content. But the relationship between Harry and Snape and how it develops in Harry's mind was extremely well written. The whole connection to the cupboards and what's safe and not was simply very good.

It was a very creepy story, and hard to read for its content -- I've read it far too many times by now, so rather than 'horrifying' it's been 'oh, god, not again'. You lose perspective when you work with the same text over and over and over. Which is why reviews like yours make me all smiley and happy! =)
With the Dursleys away Harry is left needing a place to stay and the most unlikely candidate steps forward. A Harry and Snape guardian fic. Please read and review!

- I like it!
But i think that it's maybe a little too fast-paced, and some of the dialouge feels a little awkward.
I was just wondering, when Snape's going over the schedule he says that Harry should be in bed by eight, and that lunch is served at 12 and tea at six. but what about dinner? :P

Hmmm, everyone calls meals different things it gets so confusing lol. Breakfast is the morning meal, right? then Lunch is the midday meal which some people call dinner and then tea is the evening meal which some people also call dinner. LOL, wouldnt it be soooooo much easier if people all called them the same thing? I always get confused when I hear people talking about dinner lol. I never know whether they are talking about a midday meal or an evening meal! Anyway I hope to update soon, thanks again!

Yes, indeed! However, I think Severus will protect Harry's privacy - remembering his own rather similar upbringing - and though they may touch on the subject, they won't necessarily talk it through until they know each other better.
