Is there a way to beg for a quick update without seeming like a child banging on table with a spoon, chanting for more pudding? I didn't think so. P.S. Love the 'Puffs (and the common room).
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review!! You made me smile. :0) (And I'm updating again today!!)

I don't know how Harry's going to work out this schedule-- going to school full time without being able to utilize day care seems impossible. And what happens as the child grows? I'm very curious as to what the author will do with this problem. On a different note, I can't wait to see what will happen next with Umbridge. It's such a painful part of cannon that she gets away with flaying students...they don't even try to fight her through official channels. It seems very wrongheaded-- as if all those kids are from abusive households. I like Snape's offer to have her arrested-- it's the kind of disgrace that would really hurt a career bureaucrat. I can only hope that Harry's idea really is better....
Author's Response: :0) Much fun!! Thanks for the review!! I'm really glad you're enjoying the story! Enjoy the next chapter!!
Angry with Snape, Harry goes down to talk to the professor only to witness Snape's downfall when someone else comes to speak to the former Death Eater.

I hope there is another chapter to this sometime soon-- I really like this role reversal story. Harry's compassion and awkwardness is endearing and Severus's mix of intelligence and vulnerability is delightful.
Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying it! Yes, there's another chapter hopefully coming soon, but I've been having a few problems lately, but I'll update when I can. Thanks so much for the kind review!

Huzzah! Another chapter! The game is afoot with the cover story in place for Sev. I like the shifing narrative perspectives in the early chapters (getting both Harry's and Sev's perspectives), so I hope that continues.
Author's Response: Oh, it will. I always like getting everyone's perspectives. No worries there. But I'm glad you enjoyed everything. *hugs* Thanks for the review! :D

Another great chapter! Who could resist the hurt and distrusting child!Snape? It's impossible not to want to feed him ice cream and spoil him with books and brooms and owls (waifs just bring out the Hagrid in me).
Author's Response: HAHA!! Oh, the Hagrid side of people! And yes, fear the cutness that is little Snape! Bwahahaha!! He took control over my mind once when I read a child!Snape fic, and this is the result...Thanks for the review! :D

I love this story...it's like a cupcake left on my desk by a secret admirer whenever a new chapter appears. I hope it won't be taken too personally by the author if I mention that the editing in this chapter is a bit flawed. There are about 4 or 5 spelling mistakes ("ridged" instead of "rigid" for example). It's not too terrible, but I hope the author gets a beta so she can focus on the story rather than worrying about all the details.
Author's Response: Hmmm...really? Sorry about that Quynce! I'll look it over again. But thanks! I'm glad you enjoy the story! Thanks so much for the review!!
Harry runs into Snape while trying to find the definition of home, and finds himself drawn into Snape's summer Order task by the headmaster, looking for a location outside of London. Along the way, he and Snape learn a few new definitions themselves.

I feel remiss that I haven't reviewed this story yet, but I'd like to (finally) let the author know that I'm really enjoying this a lot. I love the realism-- the character interactions are very human (rather than melodramatic). It was a fun plot in England: drunk Boy Hero dragged out of tree and treated to loud hangover morning-- what's not to love? Now the Red Light district! Really, how could a 15 year old resist? I'm sure that Snape will be through the roof because of the terrible security risk, but finding Harry sober and buying a magazine is quite tame. Harry should have known that he couldn't trick the wards, surely they would be designed so that someone couldn't hustle him out of the room.

My goodness, is there anything cuter than seasick child!Harry and a comforting Snape? No, I don't think so. I hope there's more adoption discussion and more analysis of Harry's friends (I'm sure his 15 year old self has more critical thinking skills).

The piece stands very well on it's own, so strickly speaking, it doesn't need a sequel. On the other hand, I really like the writing style a lot, so I would like to see more from the author. Also, it may seem like the work of a moment to punch a teacher in the nose, but it seems challenging to figure out what would happen next....
Author's Response: At the moment, I'm quite busy with a chapter story in a different fandom and it's taking up a lot of my time. Of course, the muse is a fickle thing so who knows?

It's a busy time of year, so I didn't get a chance to read several chapters for a while. But it's really a great holiday treat to finally read this story as it progresses. I love the realism in the story-- Harry's problems are serious, but not melodramatic. Snape is really a nice balance of caring but restrained (it makes him seem very suitably masculine).
