With a strange potion, new location and the odd Muggle Studies Professor along for the ride, Harry's in for an interesting summer, but why is Snape here? Dumbledore had better pray he gets all three back in one piece! Humor, Angst, No Mary Sues, No Romance, no real plot.

I was so excited by the Snidget chase. I'm thrilled there's another chapter of this story. I just wait for those alerts so keenly. I can't wait for the parent-teacher night, perhaps Snape will be alarmed, but also a little amused.
Author's Response: I wonder if the Snidget will ever escape from it cage. :) As for the parent-teacher night, I am sure that Snape will be alarmed and amused... but Harry will know about it for usre. Thanks for reading and for leaving comments!

I'm so happy to see another chapter after so long! I kept tracking it just in case you would continue, because it is my favorite story on this site. You really capture a level of frustration and anger beneath the surface in Harry that I really feel when I read it. I feel so frustrated and unsettled on his behalf.
I can't wait to see more of this story.
Author's Response: Thank you for keeping it on your list... I was sure most people would have removed it after all that time. :-)

So fabulous! I love that you're bringing Draco onto the scene. How much more pressure can Harry take I wonder?
Once again, I'd like to say that I'm just so happy to see this story continuing.

Oh my goodness! I'm so happy to see that you are still working on this story. It was the reason I started reading at P&S, so basically I've been living in eternal hope of seeing more. I enjoy the intensity of emotions you get with Harry and that you maintain his complexity as a character. He is both misunderstood by others and driven by selfishness, and occasional petty revenge and spite... like a real person.
I'm also enjoying the idea of the counter political backlash against both sides.
Basically, YAY, there's more and YAY there's Draco. It's the middle of the night here so not my most comprehensive feedback...
Author's Response: Thanks you, that's huge praise! Chapter 17 should be up today, and it continues everything from Chapter 16, so there will be more Draco.

Another new chapter! I saved it for my Sunday morning read. I'm really interested in what's going on with Harry's magic and I can't wait until the next part! Thanks for always writing nice long juicy chapters. It's totally worth the wait.
Author's Response: Thanks! I just posted a new chapter. :-)

It seems like we are getting closer to finding out what is causing Harry's magic outage. I'm interested in what will happen at Hadrian's b-day party. I did think Mrs Weasley might force the attendance of her children if she know about the invites.

I've always loved this story. Harry seems very real in it. Seeing Snape and Lupin's relationship through Harry's eyes is sin interesting in your fic, it seems mysterious to the reader as well, just catching one or two moments that illuminate why they are together.
There's a few stories that I've kept track of in the hope that they might be finished one day, it's so nice that yours is continuing. Thank you.
I look forward to the next part!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you like it so far. I definitely enjoy writing it.

I just adore how you write the relationship between Luna, Harry and Snape. So glad to see more of this story.
Unexpected results, after a potions assignment, leave Severus and Harry struggling with reality. A forced stay at Grimmauld Place, that includes Draco, doesn't help matters.

I'm glad you are still working on this fic. I did think I might never see anything more, so my perseverance has paid off. I am still wondering and what the relation might be between Harry and Severus, but more compelling at the moment is the Minister's motivations. I look forward to more sometime in the future.
Author's Response: thanks for the review. The Minister's motivations will be brought to light very soon!

I really liked your story. You gave me hints of this great dystopia occurring around them, but it wasn't so extreme that I couldn't imagine it happening. I think that was the strong point that society does continue to function even when the opposition wins.
Great reversal of the Snape's your dad theme.
Author's Response: Thank you! I wanted to keep the story pretty heavily grounded in the family dynamic despite the sheer misery going on just outside. Part of the reason I was able to give just hints of the dystopia is that all three characters are somewhat isolated from the worst of it. Snape is high up, and therefore can protect himself and his son, and James might be a slave, but he isn't Bellatrix's slave or Avery, or someone really particularly nasty. When I chose the challenge on which this was based, I had no intention of writing Voldemort winning or dystopia, or anything like that, but th more I thought about it, the more sense it made to write it this way.
