Hi all,

I'm Lisa and I've read too many excellent fics on here not to be inspired enough to write my own and be part of this brilliant society of aspiring authors ^-^.  I love almost anything if it's well-written and firmly believe Snape and Harry should have had for more book-time... well, Snape... I think Harry had enough ^-^ but I'll settle for the multitude of fics in which they have the relationship they should have, both being so similar and all.  I have to admit I love the sappy fluffy stuff more than I should though... but that's just me ^-^ (beware of fluff in my own work ^-^)

I'll try to be original but I'm of the opinion that similar storylines can be written by different people to become something wholly unique because writing styles to me are like snow flakes (or something equally poetic ^-^).

As to my house... well as the quote from one of my favourite fics goes, "those that tended to escape reality in books gravitated toward Ravenclaw" and that's summed me up my entire life ^-^

I'm a bit whimsy but quite friendly and more than happy to chat, though I'll try not to bug people with an inbox full of adoring reviews... no matter how awesome their writing may be.

    Aww, poor Harry. Ron's a real jerk in this huh (good for Hermione, I would've done a fair bit to him too for that. Jerk. Jerky jerkful jerk. Of jerkiness... yeah, you get my point ^^)
    I dont know if I've said it already but I love your writing style - your focus when it comes to the characters just always strikes me as really sweet, like one of those childhood stories that lasts forever and is always enjoyed... perhaps it's simply the way you write about snow and mittens and fireplaces and I really want a hot chocolate now... cookies go well with that (as do points for ravenclaw, what with it's nice toasty library common room and all ^-^)
    anyway, lovely chapter ^-^

    Author's Response: Yeah, poor Harry, I fear it's only going to get worse for him in the next chapter. Ron is a jerk and I think between Herimoine, and perhaps the twins, he'll pay the price. Thanks so much about the compliments about my writing style, it means so much to me!     I can honestly say I didnt expect the end but really it shouldnt have come as such a surprise I suppose... he did fall from pretty high up and I think all fanfic writers have a bit of a flair for drama ^^ - Is your sister really okay now? I dont know how it's possible to fall from so high and break your neck and ever be 'okay', hope she is. Looking forward to more ^^

     Thanks for reading and reviewing, it means a lot to me! Yeah, I have a bit of flair for drama, though I thought it would be pretty realistic given that high. :-D Yep, Heather is 100% ok now, the only time she has ever let on that her neck hurt was when we went on a super-jerky rollercoaster and that particular one made MY neck hurt so I could only imagine how her's felt. She never complains about anything though. :-D Actually the only "lasting" damage she had was oddly that her left hand lost motor control for a while. She's a lefty but with mom who is a lefty as well and me (I'm amdexitrous) we got her back rather quickly. My older sister helped too but was more afraid of things then I. (I think even mom would have freaked if she knew I tied Heather's right arm to her bed and threw small soft-squishy balls at her. I also helped her relearn to write, but after that, she was as good as new. :-D Thanks again!-Autumn

    Oh I so love this fic and your Sev is just gorgeous, I love how fast he's warming up to little Harry and yet it's not rushed in the slightest, very very gorgeous ^^
    Dont you just wanna hug sick!Harry? He just sounded so uncomfortable, you wrote that so well ^^
    Best christmas fic I've read in ages with lots and lots of cute h/c and Snapeyness... very nice, cant wait for more ^^

    Thanks so much. I was almost afraid I was going too fast with the bonding thing, but I know from experience that nothing helps a bond between two people or an animal and a person or whatever than nursing a sick person or animal back to health.

    Oh yes, I did. I wanted to hug him and kiss him, poor baby! That scene comes from my own personal experience with a sick baby nephew not too long ago.

    Aww! That's so sweet! And now you can see the next chapter for more cuteness and Harry and Sev bonding.

    Aw this was just gorgeous - it's such an original idea in Snape/Harry fiction, to have this sort of dynamic in their relationship and it's so fascinating to read.     I love that you can make Snape his usual snarky, bastard-like self and the next have him being utterly soft and still manage to make it a realistic transition, very nicely done ^-^

    Very very cute ^-^ - I love how as you get older you tend to lose some of the 'christmas spirit' -the kind that makes Harry think he'll e'splode ^^- but as soon as another bout of kids come along (I say it like they're sneezes ^^) that giddy excitement comes back ^^
    Hope you have lots of e'citement (sorry I just loved how you did that ^-^) this year and an awesome new year and thanks for the adorable fic ^-^

I love how I have so many younger siblings (one of which little Harry was somewhat modeled after), that the e'sploding Christmas spirit is still very big in my house. :D

    Oh wow. I'm so glad I missed this the other day because now I'm reading this at 1am Christmas morning (without tears in my eyes... and you cant prove otherwise so there ^-^) and it's just so gorgeous... this is better than 'the night before christmas' ^-^
    I really loved the lighter moments with Lockhart and the thought that Harry gets to hear his mum saying she loves him - that's so rare in fanfics, especially outside of the ever obvious near death experiences - very VERY nicely done. And now, because you have a valid point, I am going to open an early christmas present because it is technically christmas (the friend who gave it to me said I should so that's okay... no rule breaking here ^-^)

And I thought Harry needed to know that his mother still loved him and that it wasn't his fault his parents were dead. Snape was nice to charm that all up for Harry, wasn't he? But OOOO! What'd you get for Christmas? I got a nice jewelry set from my boyfriend last night. ^_^ He hid so when I was clean up some stuff I found it. BUt if I can ask, where in the world are you?     Hehe very outrageous, very silly but your insanity as always is above all VERY entertaining ^-^

    I laughed aloud at the 'use the force' part and then had the most brilliant job of explaining to my mother why I had laughed without sounding like an idiot... needless to say it didnt work and I blame you (or perhaps the candy canes I've been eating... sugar is GOOD) ^^
