| I don't have much to say, except that I truly love reading fanfiction. Maybe even too much of it! I have no writing skills, so this account is solely for reviewing stories. Ever since Deathly Hallows, I have developed a soft spot for Snape. He's officially one of my favorite characters of all time, along with Colonel Brandon (as I'm sure you can tell, I'm a huge Alan Rickman fan). If anyone needs a beta, I'll be more than happy to check over grammatical errors and give suggestions. [Report This]

Harry runs into Snape while trying to find the definition of home, and finds himself drawn into Snape's summer Order task by the headmaster, looking for a location outside of London. Along the way, he and Snape learn a few new definitions themselves.

Amazing chapter! I truly love how this story is progressing. I could attempt to ramble on about all the parts I adored, but then I would just be copying and pasting the entire chapter in my review... Thank you for such a marvelous chapter. Please update soon!

That's lovely! Snape can write an entire book on how to embarrass children. He's quite efficient at it; what with the "birds and bees" and the birthday singing. The episode with the Malfoys was also interesting. The animosity was unexpected, especially on Draco's part. I'm wondering how Harry will get through the warded door... sounds like the next chapter will be pretty exciting.

This chapter is so great! I could totally see the conversation with Bishop, and Harry's manipulating of the dark mark was particularly ingenious. Your description of the entire bar scene was cinematic and original. Severus' retribution for Lucius' taunting was humorous, as well as Harry's boyish admiration for Severus' upper body strength. Vernon is disgusting, especially with that calamite comment (by the way, Harry wasn't the only one who had to look it up!) The bee allergy and curfew worry was a nice touch and very enjoyable to read. Thanks for updating!

You are a great writer! You blend humor, drama, and action seamlessly. I really enjoy reading this story, and am so glad whenever you update! The entire chapter was flawless, and the character development is well-wrought. I can't even begin pointing out the bits that I liked, because then I would be simply reiterating the whole chapter to you! haha... Keep up the great work!

Well, the cat is out of the bag, and it went rather well, in my opinion! Seems like Harry can't help but get into trouble, one way or another... The cops, honestly! lol The restaurant scene was great, especially since it was from Petunia's point of view. It showed her proof of how wrong she was (even though she refused to acknowledge it).

Someone's excited! haha Harry can be very sweet when he is happy and carefree. He has finally found a true home and it shows. I liked that Severus knew how to "borrow" cable for awhile to watch afternoon movies. Oh, how the oompah loompas scared me when I was younger... Harry can be very perceptive, considering his gift for guessing such crucial aspects of Snape's past so easily. I wonder if Severus will reveal to him the depth of his connection to Lily? I think your Snape is fantastic, by the way. He's still his old stern and snarky self, yet he is caring and gentle with his charge. He really does make an excellent father for Harry (far better than Sirius, in my opinion).

I can't wait to start on the sequel! That was a great ending to a great story. I really love how you characterized everyone, and Harry's room sounded very cool. (I am totally loving the wallpaper)

Ohhh! The sequel has arrived! How unfortunate that Harry has no recollection of his de-aging. I wonder how badly he'll react when he discovers that Severus was his caretaker. (I'm laughing just thinking about it)

Great story! It makes me want to read the sixth book over again... You clearly know your Hp plot and are good at interweaving it with your own story line. I liked that Severus only punished Harry for what he deserved, that he can secretly be very fair. It would have made a nice addition to the actual book ;)
Author's Response: How nice of you to say so! A "nice addition to the actual book" is such an amazing compliment! I began combing through HBP after Snape AK'd Dumbledore, trying desperately to figure out which side Snape was really on. I tried to fit all the Snape scenes into a cohesive whole, and aside from what Hagrid overheard, they all clicked into this one extended picture. The thing that kept nagging at my subconscious mind was the fact that Snape only mentioned lying and cheating-- and I kept asking myself, "Why?" After coming up with a hypothesis, I knew I HAD to develop it into a story! Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks so VERY much for taking the time to review!
