25 year old swedish female socialworker with an obsession of Harry Potter fanfiction. 

I've been dealing with a depression for years and, since seeking professional help about two years ago, have been making a lot of progress towards feeling better and enjoying life more. Plan on getting back into writing fanfiction and continuing my stories, please be patient with me until then.

Little boys aren't born natural warriors. Although Albus is pleased with the work Petunia has done, now that the boy is of a teachable age alternative arrangements are necessary. Instead of being sent to Hogwarts, Harry is sent to live at a special training facility built especially for him, allowed only occasionally out to socialize with other children his age. Albus is focused on making the ultimate machine while Severus tries to walk the fine line between pleasing his own mentor and breaking the boy.

    I enjoyed this, especially how uncomfortable Harry is with Snape spending money on him and that. I do hope that they can overcome their differences and form a good father/son relationship eventually.

    Maybe Snape could realise that Harry misses his diary and give him a new one? Possibly even one that has a twin, which is in Snape's hands, so that Harry can write down the things that he does not dare talk face to face to his father about?

    Hm, why do I get the feeling that "the demon" will start making some appearances again? And it doesn't sound too unlikely that it will do so before Snape even has the chance to talk to Harry's doctor...

    Another great chapter!

    I loved seeing Harry/Alexander running away like that, and how he did not just run wildely but actually formed a plan and got help from Remus! Remus trying to help was really good too, I think!

    The only part I did have some problem with was when I realised that he would actually just tell them about the cutting, but then he didn't actually flat out say the words but showed them the scars instead. It is obvious that the problem isn't solved yet, even though Snape now has an idea of what is going on.

    Great job and I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter!

    Haha, wonderful! I loved how Snape was just angry throughout the whole thing and then in the end even he could not stay mad at Christmas Eve.

Maybe my own life played into the plot subconsciously-- every year, I get more and more aggravated with the gross commercialism of the Christmas season, to the point where I'm an absolute BEAR! But when Christmas Eve rolls around, suddenly the oppressive weight lifts, the spirit of the season finally breaks through, and suddenly I'm SMILING at complete strangers or even when I'm just driving along in the privacy of my car!     This was really cute! It reminded me a bit about My Secret Father and also, for whatever reason, of Field of Broken Dreams, but it's setting is different and though there are similiarities there are also differences.
