Good chapter. I like the feeling you give - flowing freely and easily along. My one complaint is Harry's attitude in Azkaban. Considering how he freaked out with the dementors in the third book and a little in the first of the fifth book, I expected him to react much more strongly to their presence in the prison. Quite literally, these things are his worst nightmare, and he should panic at least a little when going to a prison full of them.
I like your writing and look forward to more from you.
What if Dumbledore would have gone to check up on Harry? What if he had been given to Severus Snape at a young age? How would it affect his life? And when he meets his mysterious godfather, will he be able to choose between them?

I like where this is going. There is a long laspe of time, and you could draw out a mystery of what has happened. Give yourself space and time to develope characters and plots. Don't rush, and don't cheat the reader or yourself.

At the Dursleys the summer after Sirius' death, Voldemort sends werewolves to attack Harry. Taken to Grimmauld Place by his rescuer, Severus Snape, Harry devises a disastrous plan to rescue Sirius from the veil, resulting in his being transfigured into a baby. Snape is the only one who can brew the potion to restore him, and is the only one to realize that Harry still retains his 16 year-old-mind. Over the summer and the first two potions which restore him to age eleven, Harry begins to feel that Snape is the only one who understands and can protect him. Is he right or has his deaging muddled his thinking? AU story for 6th year.

I really like this story. It's sweet without being overly gushy, and I like the way Harry can still think for himself though he can't always express it. I look forward to seeing where you take this. Hopefully, you'll stretch it out for a while and not end it too quickly.
Author's Response: I\'m hoping to make my story book length... with one big main bad guy and problems. And then a bunch of little issues along the way. So the story will stretch out for a while...

I like this chapter. Harry's thoughts about his little body was endearing - poor boy, to be trapped in a helpless body. It's funny; when he was eleven or twevlve, he didn't think he was small. But having grown bigger and then shrinking, he hates being so little and weak.
Snape's help with Hedwig was sweet. I also liked the way he tucked Harry in so snugly. In some ways, Snape has to be close to Harry because he has taken care of him for a while now. But though he tries to distant himself, Snape cannot help worry about the boy.
Looking forward to the next chapter. Rock on!

- I like this. Great job, and we all hate Umbridge. I especially like the part where Snape rubs the salve into Harry's hand. That caring act says a lot about his character and the possible caring he might have for Harry. I wish this could be longer. It seems like a great start. Maybe it should be a first chapter, not a one shot.
