I'm such a fan of both series that it wasn't as difficult as I'd worried about to blend HP with Sherlock. Lots more to come, but I'll need to write it first! - great story! nicely crafted, you had me frustrated, teary and relieved! I admit to wondering how you could resolve all these issues by the time I got to chapter 8 but I think you have! The little overture from Calen was enough to give hope that things will turn out ok without being unbelievable. Good job!
COMPLETE. Harry and Hermione go to a prestigious summer school, where Snape is a teacher. Unfortunately for Harry, Snape has spoken to the other staff and is on his way to turning the whole school against Harry.

- great premise! Smart move on Harry's behalf on how he got Snape's permission, and it looks like Dumbledore knew exactly what he was doing! I have a feeling its going to be a hard road for Harry though, with both Draco and Snape there!

- wow, its been a while since I have read a harry/snape story where snape has truly no redeeming qualities and Im finding it hard to see how he could turn around. Particularly as this has more to do with his saving face now. Very pleased Harry has a few more teachers on his side though, looking forward to see how this will develop!
Being sent to stay in a psychiatric ward at St. Mungo’s isn’t exactly the most enjoyable way to spend a summer, so naturally, Harry’s pretty angry when he finds out that’s his destination, regardless of whether or not it might be good for him. Facing a full summer of being cut off from the Order’s plans, Harry’s even taken to envying Snape, because at least Snape knows what is going on. But when Harry arrives at St. Mungo’s and discovers that a fire has changed his destination from the teen ward to the adult ward, everything is turned upside down. Enter his roommate - suicidal, depressed, and none other than Severus Snape. They are both willing to bet that their summer will be a total disaster, and maybe it will be, but even the surest of gamblers are not always right.

- Enjoying this very much, I took a while before I started as your warning of dark themes made me hesitate (purely because I wasnt in the right mood for that) but Im very glad I read anyway. I enjoy your style and yes dark moments but realisticaly handled I think, I fellfor them both and am looking forward to their recovery! So glad someone has finally noticed Harry's need!

I knew that the dark theme warnings would scare a few people away, but I didn't want to just put no warnings because it is a very dark story in places, especially considering a lot of the lighter content on this site. It is wonderful to know that you were hooked anyway, and that you feel the portrayal of the dark moments is handled realistically. Yes, it will be nice to see Harry and Snape improve! - I think Snape's reaction is pretty realistic, he would be feeling pretty vulnerable right now and the only way for him to deal with it is it lash out, his pride has had a massive blow. Poor Harry though! Glad his first day has had some light with the game and meeting Steven will be a bit of an eye opener for him. cant wait for the next install!

Harry has a little problem, followed by a little freak out, and compounded by a confusing conversation with the Sorting Hat, who has special things in mind for him and Professor Snape. A (sort of) Christmas story as a lot of it revolves around Harry's wish for a good Christmas. [About the selected warnings] most of those were just to be safe. The Dursley's and their abuse is hardly mentioned, the corporal punishment is for the way the other students treat Harry (as well as the violence warning), and the limited use of profanity is mild.

- Great story, but my heart breaks for Harry. Will there be any back story about how Snape came to be his father? I went back to the first chapter and summary thinking maybe I had missed a chapter.
Its so frustrating for all the adults around Harry seeming not to care about his treatment or emotional welfare, so it was great to see a glimmer from Hooch, maybe she can be a friendly ear? Loving those quick updates as it has got me completely involved!
Set at the end of third year. Severus overhears Harry by chance on his final patrol before the summer and begins to suspect that the Gryffindor's home life isn't as idyllic as he assumed. Twelve years ago, he made a promise to protect him, and he intends to keep it.

- Im sorry I didnt write reviews for theother chapters but I wanted to get to the end! What a great spin to the original, you portrayed them beautifully, and I'm so glad it ended with Snape no longer able to spy and their relationship now out in the open.
Everyone keeps writing of a sequel, is that likely? Would absolutelylove to see how it all pans out. Thanks for all the effort I thoroughly enjoyed it.
