The little boy, seven years old, who was always forgotten, uncared for and treated like filth. Severus watches this boy and sees a reflection of his own childhood. When Voldemort turned up on the Potter's doorstep on the 31st of October, Halloween, his spell backfired and killed him instead(no Voldemort or Horcruxes), Lily lives and so does little baby Harry, but James Potter is dead.
