About me:

I stumbled into Harry Potter fanfic looking for something to read after years of loving the books. Even after HBP, the idea of Snape mentoring or somehow becoming Harry's father/father figure is intriguing to me. I think that his is a very interesting character with unexplored depth in canon.

As for me, well, I'm working on getting into graduate school for creative writing, as that is one of my bachelors degrees and what I enjoy the most. I do write fanfiction, and am currently writing my first try at Harry Potter, even though I'm hopelessly American and I wouldn't want British characters to sound that way. (Knowing my luck and where I'm from, I'd have Harry speaking Southern without too much effort!)

My hobby is restoring My Child dolls from the 1980s and making clothes for them. It's kind of fun to exercise artistic skills that I don't often use anymore. Otherwise, I just write. And it's whatever strikes my fancy at the moment, fanfiction in various fandoms or original fiction.

    I love this story.  Actually, since a body was never found, I'm really hoping that it turns out that Harry, somehow, survived.  However, if we're trying to stick closely to canon except for the Severitus aspect, I do have one gripe.  Harry was fifteen months old when Lily and James died, and if Severus didn't know she was pregnant, she would've had to have been in the first trimester, which means that it had to have been at least a year and a half, if not a little more, from the time she left Sev until she was murdered.

    Now that's just heartbreaking.  I do wish that Severus had listened to what Hermione had to say.  Hmm... could they use one of the Dursleys?  This is currently one of my favorite Severituses.  Please, update again soon.  (I'd like more of Savior, too!)

    Poor child.  My heart goes out to him.  And do I see Snape falling for the kid?  *evil laugh* Do I smell Snape adopting Harry here?


    Author's Response: Hmm ... not sure if there will be an adoption any time in the near future, but it\'s definitely a possibility later on. And yes, poor Snape is caving.
