The term continues on after Sirius' death, and Harry Potter is not okay. Wandering about aimlessly, Harry attempts to be who everyone wants him to be while slowly coming undone. Life has never been easy for The Boy Who Lived in the Cupboard Under the Stairs, but this is the straw that breaks the camel's back. Will anybody notice that Harry Potter is breaking? Is there hope? Perhaps it will soon ring true that "not all who wander are lost."

Your story has deep feelings, and I love the way you have owned the characters. Keep it up! Severus' and Minerva's relationship is precious. I'm a sucker for family themes! On the plus side, it is also very original. Sometimes it is hard to find some like that. It sounds like your life has been a challenge. I would love to show my support by continuing to read this work. Please keep writing! (~.^) Author's Response: Thank you so much. I can not express to you how much your review made me feel. I almost started crying when I read it. Thank you for your support. I am glad that you are enjoying my story. Your words of encouragements are well received. To the story; I am always crazy about family themes. I've read so many stories where Albus adopted Severus but never Minerva. I thought I would give it a try. Thank you again for your support. :) Amanda
Ha, Albus! In your face. HARRY KNOWS!(The truth, I mean, not whatever lie Albus thought he could simmer.) Yay! I'm so proud of Harry. He actually stood his ground even though Severus was being a bit scary (on the outside ;). Another wonderful chapter, Amanda. I really like the thought you put in the risks of a pensive. I never thought that far into it. And, hey! It didn't take you a month! -insert a round of applause- Keep writing! I'm always ready to read! -insert cyber hug- Until next time! (~.^)
Argh! The emotion in this chapter threatened to swallow me! When Minerva came to Severus' side after his nightmare. Precious! When Harry coward at Tobias' feet. I swear! Are you trying to give me heart failure so young? And don't get me started with this last chiffie you pulled! Oh please, Severus, hear Harry out before you unleash your sharp tongue! Amanda, I am more than happy that I was able to encourage you so. It means so much that I was able to do something for you. Thank you for continuing to write. This story is so unique and precious, I can't resist it. (~.^) Author's Response: It's reviewers like you that make writing this story so fulfilling. :) I so enjoyed working on this chapter. It was the first one in over a month that I could sit down and just write. I'm so glad that you liked the chapter. I will try not to let a month go by and not update. Thank you again for your support. There are no words to express that can convey what this means to me. Amanda Sequel to Those Who Grieve. Harry is recovering from the Dursleys' abuse and spends the summer after his fifth year with Severus at Spinner's End. Severus is also recovering from his time as a Death Eater, and Harry is slowly helping him heal.

I appreciated the role of the Anglican Church in both works of "Those Who..." Not many venture to that realm, but you have proven to quite capable. I hope and wish that Harry and Severus are able to pull through their problems to become problem-solvers and storytellers and lifesavers some day. I hope and wish and pray that one day you might turn back on your work... And pick something up again. I love to see this story to the conclusion. (~.^) When the saved hates the savior, magic demands justice and forms a slavery bond. Severus has saved Harry's life one too many times and the bond has formed, beyond anyone's power to dissolve.

I cannot express my adoration for this clever work. It's nothing short of precious. I absolutely love the Severus in this story. His insecurities and self-doubt are so real, I can almost feel it with him. I find it so interesting that "the bond" is almost like character itself. The thought you put into the bond is inspiring. There are a precious few master&slave stories I've read, but I must say this is my top favorite. You are incredible, and this work reflects that. I sincerely hope you come back to complete this someday. Once, just once, he wanted to celebrate Christmas with people who did not call him "Potter" or "Boy" and accepted him as he was; with people who loved him.

Author's Response: You are very welcome, and thank you! : ) Harry Potter has spent the last year hunting down the horcrux with his two best friends and new adoptive parent, Severus Snape. After Voldemort's defeat during the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry must deal with what remains after a short life filled with trauma. Although he is no longer alone, Harry finds moving forward to be nearly impossible and finally accepts help in the most unexpected of muggle places.

I really don't like it when people think they are to old for comfort, so this scene warmed my heart. Yay for fluff bunnies!! Also...Teddy's coming back!!! Again, excellent work. I'll be waiting for your next one. One last thing, as a side note, I do appreciate you responding to your reviews. I'm glad I can encourage you!! (~.^)
God, you are such a good author, and you better come and finish this! Teddy is sooooo cute!! I hope he makes another appearance. I also hope you put so more interaction with Sevvy...I don't like it when you're so aloof, Severus! You're amazing, keep writing. (~.^) Author's Response: I may have had too much fun at the end with Sev looking in. Haha!
thank you for your kind words and support! That chapter took a bit of time and emotion, and I wasn't sure how it went over. I could definitely use a Teddy chapter too ;) I was nervous about writing in a little fella like him, but I fell in love with him in his chapter.
Thanks for reading and motivating! I will try to update on the long weekend.
JK, you have no obligation to me! (Even if I’m am your most faithful reader....) On a serious note, good to see you active. The events in this chapter were hard on Harry, but I think it was necessary for some healing. I’ve never been to a therapy session before, but dang. And I think ice breaker games are hard on my introverted soul. Poor Harry. Can’t wait for the next update! ...Will we get to see Severus...? (~.^) Author's Response: Thank you for sticking with me. The next one will not take a long. I already have something in mind where questions from the previous chapters are addressed more.
i know what you mean about ice breakers haha
This impatient model is a lot more intensive than “normal” therapy. The groups are supposed to simulate a supportive group that the outside world doesn’t always provide. The people in the program are in it because they can’t function well in day to day life and have some issues to tackle. But definitely intense _:) |
