Hey Y'all,

I'm Lizzie, a computer science college student who is slowly going insane with all of the schoolwork I have to do, but who loves Harry Potter with a passion.

My user name, just in case you are wondering is pronunced LAY-lee-Uh. I got the name from an old (by now) Star Wars book, and then modified it slightly. ;-}

My favorite character is probably Severus, followed closely by a "good" Draco.

I love Severus/Lily fics, young Harry and Sev fics (father and guardian) and creature fics.

Two of the best creature fics that I have found are Cub by Jadie which is about Sev and Harry being sphinx and is absolutely incredible.

The other story is Changes by SilverWolf7 which is about our favorite professor trying to guide his son as his son begins to become a vampire. This story badly needs a sequel, it is just too good. ;-}

One of my all-time favorite stories though has to be The Better Man by Laume. It asks the question of what would have happened if Sev hadn’t gone over to the Dark Lord’s side. And features many elements that I haven’t seen in other stories such as; good Dursleys, Harry and Dudley growing up as brothers, and a magic Dudley (okay, I have seen the last one before, but only in one other story).

I am mostly a lurker, but I love to write, it's just that I will get halfway through a story and get stuck. I also don't think that my stories are all that good; I may post one someday... I finally posted a story! It is Not Quite so Terrible, and I wrote it for Prompt Fest 2009. Please take a look at it and let me know what you think.

I have had several people ask me to continue Not Quite so Terrible, so I’m going to give it a shot and try to keep it going. If anyone has a scene or idea of something that they would like me to include in one of the chapters, please message me and let me know.

    Brilliant chapter!
    I can't wait to see what Harry/Tobias has in mind for the evil toad. I'm guessing that it has something to do with telling the Court what she has been doing to their Heir.

    I'm interested to see how Blase fits into the court. I'm guessing that he is a high ranking noble's son and that is why he has the two studs.

    I can't wait to see what you do with the next chapter.

    Oh. My. Word!!

    That was the best chapter EVER!
    I just about had a fit I was laughing so hard at the end.
    I loved Blaise putting Umbridge in her place.
    I would like to see possibly more about Draco and how he fits into Court. He had better do better than a piddly little bow. ;-}

    I was wondering, if we are going to find out who was Harry/Tobias's father. And if it is Severus, how come Harry can't seem to pick him out as People?

    I can't wait to see the next chapter!

    I can't wait to see what happens next.

    I liked Dumbledore getting a little bit of his comeuppance for what happened to Harry.
    I believe that Dumbledore couldn't have cared and had that much interest and hope in Harry, and then ignore him for ten years. He had to know that Harry wasn't loved in the Dursley household.

    But I loved your chapter, and I am constantly checking to see if you have updated your story. ;-}
    And I can't wait to see what happens with Hermione's family. (Personally I think that she and Draco should be siblings) ;-}

    Wow.

    I love that you worked Tenseiga in, I love InuYasha and I was half expecting Sess to come around the corner and demand his sword back. ;-}

    Wow...
    That was just... wow.

    I loved it. Seeing things from Severus's perspective is always interesting, but you did an incredible job of telling this story.
    I loved seeing Harry go through the memory and see "the other person's point of view".
    I really loved the discussion between Dumbledore and Severus. I never really thought about Draco despising Severus so much that he would try (no matter how indirectly) to kill the man. And then seeing that Harry actually saved Severus's life by cursing Draco. I'm still going on about that in my head. I can't believe that I didn't see that before.

    Stupendous story! And I would love to see some of the conversations between Severus and Harry. ;-}

At first reading, I'd just taken HBP at face value-- but then I began to DIG... ! Yes, the conversation(s) between Snape & Harry would be fascinating. Since I wrote this as a stand-alone, I don't have a specific sequel planned, but it's definitely something to keep on the back burner! Thanks again for a fab review!!! ;-D
