Hello. My name is Faelyn. I'm a 26-year-old wannabe Hogwarts student. (Now where did that owl get off to?) I'm married and I have a B.A. in Psychology. I'm also trans and non-binary.

I love Snape-rescues-Harry stories with a passion and have a particular interest in DID stories. Which is no surprise, really, because I have Dissociative Identity Disorder myself.

    Sirius really is an idiot, isn't he...he doesn't know his godson at all if he thinks Harry wouldn't have a problem with bullying.

    Almost want Sirius to try something crazy, like trying to kidnap Harry and give him Veritaserum or something, like "you must tell me the truth!" ..."you're a bully." XD

    Oooh, I LOVE this! What an interesting premise. :3 I can totally see Harry and Ron acting like that...and I agree with you, they would not get away with it in another school, especially in another country. I also love how no one in the U.S. looks at Harry as the Boy Who Lived like it's this big wonderful thing because I have always agreed with them--he never should have had all of that placed upon his shoulders. I really want someone at that school to yell at Dumbledore over that now XD

    Thank you!  I can too.  Someone else on ff.net told me they were shocked by how these two acted, but I could see them in a specific set of circumstances acting like this, particularly when they think things are not going fairly.  Honestly, they probably don't even realize that what they are doing is exactly what US citizens are accused of doing all the time, only with house bias added to the mix. 

    No I agree, I doubt in any other school would the threesome how been able to get any with half the stuff they did and Ron and Harry would definitely never get away with what they just did to their teacher.  We'll be seeing Mione at a later date.

    I agree,  Harry should have never had any of that placed on his shoulders.  He is a child and deserves to be protected.  It seems like everyone was looking for a King Arthur type figure.  Maybe I'm over analyzing though.

In fact, the squib could relate to the boy and therefore decided to help him. Together, the two unmagical pair work at Hogwarts where the young orphaned boy will become intrigued by a certain Potions Professor who works there.

When Snape comes looking for Draco, Harry tells him that Draco has run away, and that he won’t tell him where Draco is unless Snape takes Harry with him. **Note** I'm aware that some of you don't like bad!Sirius stories. Don't worry, Sirius isn't actually in the story much, however there is redemption in the end. It's not so much that he's just bad, more that he's fallen.     AUGH! I was heartbroken that I reached the dreaded "to be continued..." I believe I started reading this story somewhere or other and stopped when it got all...y'know, Harry off in god knows where, etc. but I'm very happy I kept reading this time, this is AWESOME. Very much liking the plot changes as well with Sirius, although I can't imagine Severus is going to be too happy about him showing up in search of Harry...

    That...was very interesting. I very much like the idea of Petunia being the abuser and Vernon having no idea about it. I do hope you write a sequel soon. I wish it was more drawn out, but that's okay.

    Author's Response: The sequel will be multi-chaptered and will more than likely cover from the point where Harry and Severus are in Strange Situations to when harry goes to hogwarts we however have not seen the last of Petunia.

    Okay, I just read the whole thing and THAT was AMAZING. When I first read that it was about fatal squirrels, I had to double-check the genre because it just sounded funny (also kudos because of the fatal mySQL error LOL, that thing too must be vanquished!) But WOW. I can't say that I'm displeased with the ending because well, I hate Umbridge. But that was brilliant.

    Author's Response: :-D Wow! Thank you so much for your compliment! I guess the title does sound a little funny, but it came directly from the computer glitch's nickname, so what can I say?! I guess it just goes to show that writers can get ideas from the most unlikely sources! But after a year of hearing Shoutbox comments about squirrels hijacking chapter updates, I suddenly thought, "If a Fatal Squirrel was a Magical Creature in the HP universe, what KIND of creature would it be?" So the vampire-squirrel, then the story, grew from there. It still amazes me that it worked out as well as it did! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! :-)
