I enjoy reading as well as writing my own fan fictions. I especially love reading Harry Potter fan fiction, which is how I ended up finding this website. I don't know if I'll ever upload anything here (cause I'm still trying to finish a fan fic from a different fandom) but I'll definitely be enjoying everyone elses work. :)

Before Harry arrives at Hogwarts, the faculty have a meeting and decide that Harry will need a mentor to help him adjust, keep him out of trouble, and make protecting him easier. They decide that this person should the Head of the House into which Harry is sorted, presumably Minerva McGonagall. But things, of course, don't turn out as planned, and Harry is harder to deal with than anyone expected. Nobody asked him if he wanted a mentor, after all...

    Harry's behavior reminds me of why I can't be a teacher. You're supposed to teach these ungrateful brats, not get paid enough and not choke them out?! I can't do it. I would have just thrown Harry outside the school and stupified him.

    I could never take any type of pain. If I was Snape I'd probably have passed out after the first curse.

    I read another fan fiction once where Harry had talked to the snake from the Dark Mark. I think the idea of it is interesting and that the idea for it in this was very nice.

    I was a little disappointed that Harry didn't take the other potion, but then in hindsight, in his situation I might not have used it either. I would have still kept it, but probably not have used it until after everything sunk in.
