    What an excellent tale!

    I've decided to read some of the earlier works in the archive and was very please to find your stories. This one really grabbed my attention and I enjoyed it very much.

    I liked how you kept most of the POV in Harry's head so we readers didn't immediately understand Severus motivations as he cared for Harry at first.

    I also liked how the trust between them slowly developed--much more realistic than you find in some fics on archives that I won't mention. *grin*

    I also appreciate your not having Severus hex the Dursleys to death, even though they really did deserve some sort of censure for the neglect and emotional and physical abuse that they gave to Harry. It was nice seeing Severus take the higher road (even though he really didn't want to!).

    I really enjoyed that last scene in the courtyard. It was so peaceful and I could just picture it in my mind. :)

    Very well done! This is going on my list of fics to re-read.

    Oh, are you intending to continue this lovely story? I have really enjoyed reading it, and want to know what happens next. :-)

    I just LOVE Angry!Dumbledore here and how he treats the Dursleys. And I love even more that he has sincerely apologized to Harry.

    The description of the damage to the potions classroom and the dungeons overall was really scary and nerve-wracking as the staff and house elves worked their way in to rescue Severus. While it is sad that two house elves died in the effort, I applaud the realism of how you wrote the disaster.

    I do hope you will continue this tale, either here at P&S or at another fanfic site. Well done!

    This is an amazing story! I started it and just couldn't stop!

    I want to shake Dumbledore, and I want to boil Snape in one of his own potions! If all of the adults' actions and decisions are meant to keep Harry "safe", I'd truly hate to see what they'd be doing to him if they truly hated him!

    I love Gordon! And the fact that he's a muggle. And most of all the fact that he is on Harry's side.

    Wow! This was just utterly fantastic! My heart is still racing from the tension and excitement of the battle and the rescue of Snape's soul from death.

    I really liked the first story, but this one far surpasses it in quality, intensity, and sheer scope! Again, you've written to a concept that I'd not thought of before, and I'm grinning my head off as I write this review, gobsmacked at how much I was sucked into the story--so much so that it was a real start to come up against that "To be continued..." at the end of the final posted chapter.

    I would dearly love to know what happens next, when Severus wakes up and he and Harry speak to one another.

    The description of the battle was just gripping, and I could easily visualize it in my head as I read. Frankly, I liked your battle far better than the description of the Battle of Hogwarts in TDH!

    I do hope that you will finish posting this story so that we readers can once again enjoy your storytelling and know how it all comes out.

    Is there any chance at all that you've posted it somewhere in another archive? *looks hopeful*

    I love this story! I'm working my way through the tales you've posted and this is my favorite so far. :) I do hope that you are able to update it--in your own time, of course, because real life does trump fanfic, unfortunately--it's an excellent AU of Harry's 5th year and afterwards. How long do you expect this tale to go? Not number of chapters but do you intend to cover 6th and 7th years too?

    I'll add this to my growing list of favorites from your profile. I don't want to miss the next installment! :)

    I love this story! Snape's changes in behavior towards Harry are believable, and I really thought your tweaks to the events of OOTP were inspired. I look forward to the next chapter! Well done!

Taken to Grimmauld Place by his rescuer, Severus Snape, Harry devises a disastrous plan to rescue Sirius from the veil, resulting in his being transfigured into a baby. Snape is the only one who can brew the potion to restore him, and is the only one to realize that Harry still retains his 16 year-old-mind. Over the summer and the first two potions which restore him to age eleven, Harry begins to feel that Snape is the only one who understands and can protect him. Is he right or has his deaging muddled his thinking? AU story for 6th year.
