Hi, everyone.  I'm a long-time HP fan, but new to reading and writing HP fanfics.  Of course Harry and Severus are favorites, but I really like almost all the characters.

I'm a preschool teacher, and happily married with two children who also love HP.  Other things to know about me?  Hmm, I love horseback riding, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.  I love coming to talk with other fans on the internet, and I love reading fanfics.

Each of them has friends who think they should give their relationship a chance. Friends really should mind their own business. Note: The warnings seem ominous but this is not a dark story, quite the contrary. The instances that include the warned of moments will simply be briefly referred to and not minutely examined.

    Author's Response: Hi Kristeh!  Thank you so much!  I'm glad you wrote, I lost your email when I had another crash to this dumb puter.  We lost so so much in our efforts to write this story.  We had dozens of pages of notes that crashed with the computer last year, forcing us to take a break to try to recover what we could remember.  Fortunately, Tabby has a good memory and remembered our sorting hat song.  But when we got what we could back together we just couldn't fit it all into the pages.  It was just too much.  So pages and pages of notes had to be put aside so we could rewrite the story making fewer main, complicated story lines.  We're fired up now so we have high hopes for quick updates.  I hope you and yours have been well.  Sorry to have disappeared!

Christmas break is a lonely time for an eleven-year-old with no friends to spend it with; however, on a walk, he manages to find one in the strangest way. Add to that a Potions Master unaccustomed to silence and it seems three very different beings are in the perfect place at the perfect time to help each other when they need it most, bringing everything together.     Great story, sproutchild! You did a wonderful job showing things from the bee's POV, and I loved how gentle and concerned Harry was with it.

    The interaction between Severus and Harry was great, too! I loved that Severus was seeing Harry with new eyes.

    And I'd love an Antonomasia update too!
